Working with project leaders and the executive core at RJI, Kelly Peery tracks and documents RJI projects as they progress throughout the year. In addition she edits and distributes RJI’s monthly e-newsletter, fields media inquiries, oversees distribution of RJI press releases and produces and edits video programming for live events and for rjionline.org.
Peery is a 2007 graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism, having majored in Media Convergence (strategic communications, promotions, and public and media relations) with a business minor.
Prior to graduation, Peery completed internships with the St. Louis Sports Commission (where Peery assisted in the marketing, development, communications and events departments), and KOMU TV-8, the Mid-Missouri NBC affiliate.
She gained additional experience with MOJO Ad at the Missouri School of Journalism, and during 2006 served as a public relations assistant at the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Missouri.
