Six months ago, a Canadian homeless woman — Marlene Bird — was beaten, assaulted and set on fire. CBC News' The National told her story with the help of Dan Archer, graphic journalist and 2014-2015 Reynolds Fellow. Marlene's story aired January 29 on The National, CBC's national newscast.
