Sarah Hill, StoryUP

Sarah Hill is the chief storyteller and CEO of StoryUP, a VR journalism startup based in Columbia, Mo. A former interactive news anchor and chief storyteller for Veterans United Foundation, Hill creates with human media, pushing the transition of text-based storytelling to a three-dimensional world. She was the first person to use a Google Hangout on TV so she could see and hear her audience live during the broadcast. An alumna of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and former adjunct faculty, Hill's reporting has taken her team around the globe covering stories in Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Guatemala and Zambia. Hill is a national Edward R. Murrow, national Sigma Delta Chi, NAB Service to America and 12 time Mid-America Emmy award-winning storyteller.
