Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the current environment — having to build apps multiple times for multiple proprietary platforms — is broken and even a big company like Facebook can't deal with that long term. He talks about a need for a return to a common platform — like the web. "It's kind of a disaster right now. I really hope that the direction that this stuff goes in is one where there's more of a standard," he says.
