Videos and articles from RJI's "Hack the Future of Journalism" event, held Saturday, May 31, through Sunday, June 1, in San Francisco, are now available on RJI Online.

Teams of developers, journalists and innovative thinkers tackled challenge questions that sought to discover new tools, business models and news services that deliver context-rich, real-time social journalism to users across digital platforms. Hackathon participants were supported by mentors from media, investment and technology communities through workshops, demonstrations and one-on-one conversations.

"Hack the Future of Journalism" was sponsored by Google, with additional support by Wayin and Chute, and was organized and hosted by RJI, the Public Media Platform and KQED. RJI is proud to have been a part of the National Day of Civic Hacking.
