Virtual re-creation of Ferguson shooting lets you see the scene from witnesses’ perspectives
Dan Archers interactive re-creation of the Michael Brown shooting scene in Ferguson, Missouri, is now available on Fusion networks website. The piece is a series of Web comics and 3-D simulations created by Archer, a graphics journalist and 2014-2015 Reynolds Fellow at the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute. The drawings allow users to explore the Canfield Green apartment complex where the shooting took place. Users search for beacons, which represent different eyewitness accounts. Fusion included a companion article highlighting how the re-creation was put together.
